Questions[change source]

Hi, and good luck on your request for adminship. I've asked some questions on the page, if you would like to answer them... they are optional, however. Best, NonvocalScream (talk) 18:42, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Admin time[change source]

Hello, yes, it's that time of the year. You're no longer a rollbacker I'm afraid, so you'll have to hand the t-shirt back. You're an admin! Congratulations, you received some serious backing from the community and I hope you'll continue to contribute positively here and make a difference with the tools. Feel free to get in touch with any fellow admin should you need some advice. In the meantime, just wait for your admin t-shirt to arrive. All the best, and well done again. The Rambling Man (talk) 18:15, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Congratulations and well done for passing your RFA; welcome to the team! fr33kman talk 18:16, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
Congrats! You'll do great - I have every confidence :). Regards, Goblin 18:17, 30 June 2009 (UTC) I ♥ Kennedy!
Congrats! Barras (talk) 18:18, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
Congrats. I think you get a new shirt with each adminship. I'll wait for a crat to give that to you. EhJJTALK 18:26, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
Well done! Go and delete the main page :D See Chenzw for your shirt ! Being an admin is nice, but it becomes a lot less fun when you have to delete a whole load of articles (i.e: asteroids :p ) Yotcmdr =talk to the commander= 18:29, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
Congrats! Exert (talk) 19:24, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
Welcome to hell your new job. Now get to work on those backlogs! :P Meetare Shappy Cunkelfratz! 19:41, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
I have found your T-shirt. Don't lose it. ;) Chenzw  Talk  08:13, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

(outdent) Congrats! Now go and delete the Main Page and block other admins. Pmlineditor 16:47, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Chenzw! I never got my crappy admin t-shirt(s). I'd like to place an order please :p Exert (talk) 17:42, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

(outdent) Thank you all! :-D --Philosopher Let us reason together. 20:05, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Romanian Rivers[change source]

You will of course... have to delete you requisite 400 articles once the RFD is closed. :) Congratulations, NonvocalScream (talk) 01:42, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Did you know improvements[change source]

Hey Philosopher,

I'd like to point you in the direction of this discussion between myself and Fr33kman regarding the DYK process. I am notifying you because you are an active member of the DYK process.

Could you restore MediaWiki talk:Copyright as the discussion there could still be useful? cheers! NonvocalScream (talk) 06:12, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

IP welcomes[change source]

Hi Philosopher! I saw, that you welcomed an IP (here). To welcome IPs, we have a special message, the {{Anon}} template. Please consider to this one. Barras (talk) 22:15, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

You just added the other template again. The anon template is better, because it includes a link to crate an account. Please use the other welcome. Regards --Barras (talk) 19:24, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
Guess I did. we have a {{Welcome2}} version of this template? A welcome should be primarily focused on informing them about useful pages not merely letting them know about accounts, imho. --Philosopher Let us reason together.
But we need (I think you know this) more editors. So we ask useful anons to create an account. I think it's a good template. Probably we get in this way one or two new editors. Barras (talk) 19:41, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
My point is that if we want the anons to become new editors, we need to let them know about how to edit not merely how to create an account. I don't want to get rid of the "how to make an account" stuff, just add the other useful information. Of course, I count editors as editors even if they don't create an account... --Philosopher Let us reason together. 19:44, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
Well, the anon welcome includes also the most useful links. I think if we use this one, the anons feel probably important and create an account. So we could have a new (great) editor. Barras (talk) 19:46, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
I finally found (and imported) a good template for this from en. See {{Anon2}}, the companion to the registered users' {{Welcome2}}. --Philosopher Let us reason together. 21:53, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

WikiProject Famous Americans[change source]

You are invited to join the WikiProject Famous Americans. The objective of this project is to determine what the 30-50 most important American biographies are, making sure the pages of those people are written well, and in addition serve as a one-stop shop for a 2nd or 3rd grader looking for a Famous American to do a biography report on. Please sign up with it here so it can become a full-fledged project! Purplebackpack89 (talk) 21:09, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

I noticed your edit. You're correct. BTW, the signup is on the talk page, for some weird reason. Purplebackpack89 (talk) 01:37, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. I also fixed your template-link on the talk page - you can make {{this}} appear by typing {{tl|this}}. If you want a parameter to show {{as|here}}, simply type {{tlx|as|here}}. As for joining your project, I probably won't for now - I've got too many things to do in real life at the moment. --Philosopher Let us reason together. 02:08, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Thanks. --Philosopher Let us reason together. 21:21, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Please create User:Mythdon/Attack titles, so I can list all future attack titles there. Mythdon (talkchanges) 21:34, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Created. If the title blacklist block is keeping you from creating in your own userspace (I hope it isn't!), let me know and I'll remove it from the list after things settle down. --Philosopher Let us reason together. 21:37, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
