Hello!

Hello. This user account forced I to create because my other account, Psl85, could I not to log in to. Why could I not log in to my old? Can an bureaucrat merge my old edit history with my new account? Psl631 (talk) 15:04, 9 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please go and take the effort to read your own talk page before you ask questions. Chenzw  Talk  15:06, 9 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your QD nominations

You have had issues recognizing whether a page should be marked for QD in the past. Regarding your nomination of Whistling for quick deletion, that page is not one that falls under quick deletion criteria. Please remember to assume good faith when editing, and don't assume that all IP's are bad. Thanks, and happy editing. Vermont | reply here 15:53, 14 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Quick deletion of Www.minecraft.net

The page you wrote, Www.minecraft.net, has been selected for quick deletion. If you think this page should be kept, please add {{wait}} below the line {{QD}} and say why on the talk page. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. You can find more information about the reason here. Chrissymad (talk) 16:34, 14 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Moving pages from old account

Please do not move any more pages from other accounts, even accounts that you say were you. The whole reason you made a new account (assuming you are really the same user), is that your old account was compromised. Because it was compromised, we can't assume that you are really the same user, and users are not allowed to move the user pages of other users. If you want a copy of a page from another account, do a copy and paste instead. I am going to move the already-moved ones back. --Auntof6 (talk) 08:26, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I will only redirect those pages because my old account is no longer used, I moving them to my new account because I will keep those pages. I DO NOT like copy and paste moves. --Psl631 08:29, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
No, don't redirect them, either, or do anything else to them. Treat them as though they belong to a different user. If they belonged to a different user, you would need to copy and paste anyway. --Auntof6 (talk) 08:32, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Auntof6: Ok. I copied and pasted the old text in the sandbox for my old account to my personal sandbox on this account. --Psl631 08:36, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your signature

Would you consider changing your signature? Reasons:

  • It's not apparent that there are three different links in the part that displays as your user name.
  • Even if one realizes that there are three links there, there's no indication of what they link to.
  • Having only one, two, or three characters for each link makes it harder to click on a particular one.

This is not a requirement, but it would be a courtesy to your fellow editors. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 15:59, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I recently changed my signature to this text: Psl631 Talk Contributions. Ok, this indicates my talk page and contributions page. Psl631 Talk Contributions 17:06, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. That will help people navigate to your pages. --Auntof6 (talk) 18:47, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting vandalism

Before you revert a change as vandalism, please be sure that it really is vandalism. Earlier today, I undid two of your reverts (this one and this one) because the changes they reverted were not vandalism. Looking at your more recent changes from today, I see more changes you reverted that weren't vandalism (this one and this one). Keep in mind that some changes might not be what we want in an article and need to be undone, but they aren't necessarily vandalism. --Auntof6 (talk) 16:14, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Where can all userboxes be found?

{{helpme}}

Hello. I is searching for userboxes to my userpage. Where can ALL userboxes be found?--Psl631 Talk Contributions 20:15, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Mostly all userboxes are located at Wikipedia:Userboxes#Gallery_of_Userboxes. Vermont (talk) 21:52, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Some other userboxes can I not found. Where can they be found?--Psl631 Talk Contributions 06:31, 18 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Are you looking for any specific ones? Many would be in Category:Userbox templates and its subcategories. You won't necessarily find all of them on the gallery page or in the category, though: There's no requirement to put them in either place, especially the ones in userspace. --Auntof6 (talk) 06:58, 18 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting quick deletion

When you make a QD request, you must specify one of the QD reasons listed at WP:QD. Those are the only reasons for which a page can be quickly deleted. If none of the reasons there apply, then you can use WP:RFD instead. --Auntof6 (talk) 22:06, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In regard to User:Psl631/Drafts

You wrote on the above link "Please use this page to create an article WITHOUT it risking to be deleted". This is untrue and misleading. Please see WP:QD. For example; blatant promotion, copyright violations, and personal attacks will be deleted. Vermont (talk) 14:33, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

That page was only an page to draft an article and then copy-and-paste to an new article. --Psl631 Talk Contributions 14:39, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I previously removed the untrue leading from the draft page.--Psl631 Talk Contributions 14:39, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks :-) Vermont (talk) 14:45, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
When can I use the draft page for? --Psl631 Talk Contributions 14:47, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Magic words

Would you please remove the NOEDITSECTION magic word from this page? It forces people to edit the entire page instead of just the section they're contributing to. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 17:22, 20 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Done: Removed the noeditsection magic word. Thank you for notifying! --Psl631 Talk Contributions 17:27, 20 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

March 2018

We like and strongly encourage helpful changes to Wikipedia, but "Vacation" was directly copied and pasted from the main English Wikipedia. Please do not do that. Such articles are usually too complex. They need to be simplified before or immediately after being added to the Simple English Wikipedia. In addition, be sure to include attribution on the article's talk page. Thank you. Auntof6 (talk) 08:18, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I will simplify the english next time, but it is very hard to do this. Thanks for notifying! --Psl631 Talk Contributions 09:02, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, writing simple English is harder than writing regular English, but it is the whole reason this Wikipedia exists. Unsimplified articles already exist on enwiki, so there's no need to duplicate them here without simplifying. --Auntof6 (talk) 09:38, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I have created yesterday a "draft" subpage (found here) where I can create an article and simplify it before putting the text in the real article. Go nd check out this page! Did you see my new signature:Psl631 Talk Contributions . --Psl631 Talk Contributions 09:43, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Can somewone change the content model on my user page to "HTML"?

Hello. I would rather have in my user page the content model "HTML" instead of wikitext. Please can somewone change the content model to HTML? --Psl631 Talk Contributions 10:11, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It is not possible to change the content model to HTML on your user page. See mw:Content handlers. Vermont (talk) 11:00, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. Did you see that I left you a message on your talk page? --Psl631 Talk Contributions 11:13, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. Vermont (talk) 11:15, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

We like and strongly encourage helpful changes to Wikipedia, but "Pilcrow" was directly copied and pasted from the main English Wikipedia. Please do not do that. Such articles are usually too complex. They need to be simplified before or immediately after being added to the Simple English Wikipedia. In addition, be sure to include attribution on the article's talk page. Thank you. Creating a page that has the simplify template on it right from the beginning is pretty much admitting that the article isn't appropriate for this Wikipedia. If you know the text needs simplifying, then it isn't ready to be an article yet. Auntof6 (talk) 18:54, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Can checkboxes be created in my user page?

{{helpme}}

I need help to create some checkboxes to my user page, explain how to create one?--Psl631 Talk Contributions 15:41, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know how to do that, but what would be the purpose? People don't usually edit the user pages of other people.
As a side note, be careful about putting so much effort into user page changes and similar things that don't benefit Wikipedia. You might want to review WP:USERPAGE to be sure you don't end up being seen as someone who's here to experiment instead of help the project. --Auntof6 (talk) 16:06, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Please ask another editor to do that, and then let the editor help me on this talk page. If the editor answers that they can do that, please reply then on this talk page. I can then experiment on the sandbox. --Psl631 Talk Contributions 16:12, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ask another editor to help you with checkboxes? You've already dine that. --Auntof6 (talk) 17:10, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Can I create my own templates for requesting page protection?

Hello. I only ask if I can create my own templates for requesting page protection? The template names could be:

And I will use those templates when I request protection in the admin noticeboard instead of plain text requests. --Psl631 Talk Contributions 20:38, 23 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Psl631, please stop using your own talk page to ask questions. The best place to ask this question is at WP:AN, because it is the admins who would need to read the requests created by templates. --Auntof6 (talk) 20:53, 23 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I want to create a custom skin, can any user help me with this? Psl631 Talk Contributions 09:09, 24 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Psl631, you can go to my settings on the top of the page and to the appearance on it where you can create a custom skin for yourself or choose any one to use, after saving the page you will have changed skin. Thanks and if you need help asked in other user's talk page or Simple talk. Thanks-BRP ever 10:13, 24 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Warning users

I saw your warnings to the IP user 95.235.134.174. Please note:

  • Please stick to the standard warnings and templates. There is no such thing as a second only warning, and warnings don't need flashing icons.
  • Don't use an only warning if previous warnings have been given. (Think about what only means.) The level 4im only warnings are not the next level after the final warning. They are used when vandalism is so serious that only one warning will be given, such as for cyberbullying or making threats.
  • After a final warning is given, no further warnings are needed. If there is more vandalism, just report it at WP:VIP and leave it at that.

I need help to create a custom skin

Hello. I only asking for help to create a custom skin, but it is very hard to do that. Please can any editor help me with this and describe the HTML codes, and I have not yet learned HTML codes. --Psl631 TALK TO ME!!! 15:30, 25 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I believe Auntof6 puts it quite well, "As a side note, be careful about putting so much effort into user page changes and similar things that don't benefit Wikipedia." Although a custom skin may be interesting, it detracts from time that could be spent improving Wikipedia. Also, your talk page is not the best place to ask questions. A better area is WP:ST, or if you want to ask a specific editor leave a message on their talk page. Vermont (talk) 21:22, 25 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Quick deletion of Template:Quick deletion

The page you wrote, Template:Quick deletion, has been selected for quick deletion. If you think this page should be kept, please add {{wait}} below the line {{QD}} and say why on the talk page. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. You can find more information about the reason here. Chrissymad (talk) 19:10, 26 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I saw that you created this template. Before you create any templates, categories, or other infrastructure related to maintenance, please discuss it to make sure that what you have in mind is needed and wanted. --Auntof6 (talk) 03:13, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You have reached your 500th change!

Congratulations, you have made your 500th change on this Wikipedia! New user rights can be requested:

An achievement have you obtained on your userpage and an email has been sent to you. Check out your email to see your message!

Thanks! 46.227.72.65 (talk) 05:58, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Dear IP user: please do not leave messages telling users that they can request rights just because they have made a certain number of edits. There no specific number of edits that someone must make to request most rights. Rights are given based on whether a user seems like they would use them appropriately. It takes time for the community to view someone as a trusted user, and the quality of edits is more important than the quantity. --Auntof6 (talk) 06:37, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

About something on your user page

You have a section on your user page about giving you barnstars. Barnstars would be given on your talk page, not your user page, so the fact that your user page is semiprotected has nothing to do with it. --Auntof6 (talk) 16:59, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I would rather giving me barnstars on my user page, I can also make a link for adding a barnstar to me on this page. Did you see my achievements? Thanks for notifying! -- Psl631 TALK Contribs 17:02, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Tagging articles

Hello Psl631, I think you are leaving too many tags in the articles like you did in West Midlands Trains. What is does is gives the wrong concepts to the new users like,"The article I write is useless here. They don't like or accept such articles." So I am requesting you not to leave too many tags on the article. It makes it less attractive and gives wrong concepts to the readers (like article is incorrect or something). New users may not know how to write a well wikified articles with source and enough concept but adding all those tags only discourages them and stub means already the article is incomplete or has less information, so adding all those tags doesn't show what is needed in the articles since the content itself is lacking or not enough. So I hope you will consider these things. Thanks-BRP ever 07:17, 30 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hey you are doing it again and the last one was too quick. It seemed like some new user was testing how to use wiki or write pages in wiki you could have marked it for deletion as test page after some time instead of leaving all those tags and making him feel like we are saying suu suu, your articles are worthless. Please consider this. Thanks and sorry if I offended you in any kind-BRP ever 10:33, 30 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for my issue templates

Sorry for the issue tags I added to the article created by the article wizard an new user, I placed multiple issues tag on it and an IP editor placed {{Stub}} on the article, User:BRPever tagged it for deletion and the article was then deleted by User:Auntof6. Sorry for I added multiple issues to that page instead of marked it for deletion. VERY SORRY. I will not do it again. -- Psl631 TALK Contribs 10:47, 30 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I am not saying only about that page. I observed how you were tagging an article since some time. The tags were random. Think properly before you do so. And do not tag very new pages too. So don't be sorry and keep going with other good works. Happy editing.thanks-BRP ever 10:54, 30 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
