Welcome to Simple English Wikipedia

Hi Razorflame, welcome to Simple English Wikipedia! Thank you for your changes. If you need help, check out the Help section of Wikipedia, or leave a message on my talk page. Whenever leaving messages on talk pages, please remember to sign your name by typing four 'tildes' (like this: ~~~~); doing this makes your name and the date show up. Also, it helps if you write something in the box that says 'edit summary' whenever you change an article. Below are some useful links to make your time here simpler. Happy editing!  Barliner  talk  20:02, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a substitution option for this? -Razorflame 20:13, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

207...

Yes, but his last warning was like a week ago. I know I do have checkuser privs, I could ook up if there are other people editing from there, but that is not what I understand checkuser is for. In any case, if he/she vandalizes one or two more times today, there will be a block. There are more repreat offenders like this ome, and usually they do not get chekusered. --Eptalon 16:58, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I gave him the last warning template because he's vandalized 4 times today. -Razorflame 16:59, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Valais

Hello, Razorflame. Regarding Valais, it is good to see a committed editor. If I may suggest something though is that when you do that table of the municipalities (villages), by district, please start with one page per district. As an example, Saint Luc has a population of 345; In my opinion, the only thing notable about it is probably that it is near Sierre. Zwitschbergen contains the village Gondo, which saw a major landslide a few years back (mid 2000 actually). It is located on the Simplon pass road. End of 2006, 127 people lived in Zwitschbergen, 80 of them in Gondo. So, please group such villages into their respective district, at first. As a question, do you think the gold mines, used in the 17th century mainly make Zwitschbergen notable? Have a nice editing. --Eptalon 18:31, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm still working on simplifying it. I will edit stuff out as soon as I can. Thanks for the comment though. -Razorflame 19:42, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User:Razorflame/Brig, Switzerland

Move it to the mainspace. I am sure other editors will add links etc, put this is a great start for anyone who wants to expand further.-- Barliner  talk  20:30, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Moved. -Razorflame 20:32, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

redirects

Just replace the page with #redirect [[page name]] If there are any other lines in the article, it won't work.--Werdan7T @ 20:48, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for this. Razorflame (contributions) Talk 16:41, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Anymore

Any more to delete? :) -- Barliner  talk  22:28, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Any pages that I move into the mainspace will leave a redirect in my userspace. You are free to delete the ones that have already been moved. Just watch the move log to see the moves. -Razorflame 22:30, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I saw the changes on IRC, but didn't want to jump in -- Barliner  talk  22:33, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You can delete the ones that have been moved into the mainspace. Namely, User:Razorflame/Monthey, Switzerland -Razorflame 22:33, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Deletions

The user space pages were not meant to be deleted, and are now restored. Thanks for reminding me about them. What was meant to be deleted was, however, the redirects from article namespace to user namespace. In future, it will be a good idea to create the article on your user space first, modify/simplify it as much as needed, and then move it to main namespace, and not the other way (from main namespace to user namespace). Regards, - Huji reply 07:51, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's exactly what I've been doing lately. -Razorflame 15:39, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article creation

See what I mean about Saint-Petersburg and Saint Petersburg. It is always a good idea to search for the proposed page name, this will show up any close matches which might mean that the article already exists. Many of the towns which were at the top Special:Wantedpages already existed but as City of xxx for example. -- Barliner  talk  16:38, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

BTW if you check Special:Wantedpages you will see that some Swiis cities are wanted. -- Barliner  talk  16:42, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You

With the time, you will learn. Don't worry about it. ;) --Eptalon 17:51, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yep.... Razorflame (contributions) Talk 16:42, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Switzerland articles

They look pretty good. Valais could be simplified a bit more, so I'll take a look at it when I have some time later on. Keep up the good work. :) Nishkid64 (talk) 02:20, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's good. Thanks for the input. -Razorflame 03:10, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
