Welcome to Simple English Wikipedia[change source]

Hi, Timothy Mok, welcome to Simple English Wikipedia! Thank you for your changes. If you need help, check out the Help section of Wikipedia, or leave a message on my talk page. Whenever leaving messages on talk pages, please remember to sign your name by typing four 'tildes' (like this: ~~~~); doing this makes your name and the date show up. Also, it helps if you write something in the box that says 'edit summary' whenever you change an article. Below are some useful links to make your time here simpler. Mass Rapid Transport (Singapore)[change source]

Hello Timothy Mok, and welcome to our project. Like English Wikipedia, we have two categories of better articles. They are called Good articles, and Very good articles here. Making an article good or very good is a process of improving it so it meets certain criteria (good article criteria, Very good article criteria), and having a certain amount of support. Once the article meets at least 5 of the criteria, it can be listed at the Good articles or Very good articles proposals page. It will then undergo further improvements, as well as a vote, within a period of three weeks. The article you listed is a little short (The minimum, excluding infoboxes, imagees and such is 3.5KB for good articles - In practice that means the article is usually about 7-8kb long as a minimum. Another requirement is that for red links (There should be few in Good articles, and none in Very good articles). I think that the article you listed still needs a little work (mainly to size, and red-links). I hope this helps, sorry. --Eptalon (talk) 12:31, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your recent edits, you are not an admin, so please do not list yourself as such. If you wish to apply for adminship, feel free to visit WP:RFA. However, keep in mind that three months of active participation is generally preferable before you apply. --TBC 07:33, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, if you wish to experiment with WikiSyntax, Wikipedia:Sandbox is the perfect place for that.--TBC 07:37, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning you will get for the bad changes you made. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to Mass Rapid Transit (Singapore), you will be blocked from editing. Ι-ση // ταlκ ραgeψ 13:33, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Non-core articles[change source]

Hi Timothy, thank you for your interest in creating MRT-related articles. Unfortunately, the content in your articles are a direct copy-paste from the English Wikipedia and will have to be removed. Please note that these are non-core articles, which do not satisfy the criteria under WP:CORE. Thank you.-- Tdxiang 10:21, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
