Creating a redirect, when deleting a seemingly valid article?

Hello, Vector; next time you delete an article (Great Fire Of London) for which there already is one with legitimate content (Great Fire of London), please create a redirect. This could avoid the situation we now have (both articles, one created by me under the impression it did not exist yet, with a merge request). Just a thought. Vandalism this morning

Please block user:Lady888. I have removed all vandalism they have done. I think this user is working with user:QualityComptrol. S/he is marking many articles with RfD and not posting reasons. Blocked 'Nordic Flame'

Hello Vector, If you see this user as a potential troublemaker, then the block is probably justified. My approach would have been a different one; let them contribute, and look at the contributions. Then, based on the contributions, do the block if necessary. You did the block, so it is up to you to deal with the situation, to the best of your knowledge; personally, I do not see a derogatory or offensive username there.

In theory, there are thousands of Scandinavians out there, that do not subscribe to NAzi ideology; and simply saying that the Nordic culture is great is no offense, imo --Eptalon 21:54, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bot flag requests should normally be given a few days in case there's any concerns from the community, offensive usernames you may want to leave for a while if you think they were only made so that we'd rename them. Bot flags

Hi Vector, when you flag bots, can you also add them to the list on WP:BOTS? That way we have a list of all of them and what they do. Also, I just realised I didn't get back to you about Tangobot, but it looks fine to me. Could you help me out on simplifying several of the articles I've created cause I think some of the articles I contributed to needs some simplifying in the english. The articles are basically tropical cyclone related articles such as Hurricane Katrina, tropical cyclone, 2006 Atlantic hurricane season, and Subtropical Storm Nicole (2004).
