Spoken word versions

Simple:wikipedia at this point has not really focused on spoken version of our articles. This is not to say they are in any way frowned on, just that it is not something that has been focused on. As far as I know only one article has been converted it audio (Pokemon was done by one of our ex-admins). Our current upload policy is strongly against image, but pretty much is actually only still active in case of an .ogg file for either pronunciation of a term or spoken word article (images bad- go to commons, Spoken word good - thank you.) The only request I would have with these articles is that they be properly included into the pages they apply to. If there are any issues with getting them properly added to the articles, feel free to inform me of the problem and hopefully we can take care of it. -- Creol(talk) 08:59, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia! Our policy is that images cannot be uploaded directly to the Simple English Wikipedia, and any images uploaded here will be deleted. Please upload any images to the Wikimedia Commons next time. Images uploaded there can be used in Simple English Wikipedia articles in the usual way. Thank you. This is an exception to this. They are spoken versions of articles, so they are alright. Razorflame 22:55, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
