Good luck and happy changing! BRP ever 11:51, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the pages were fine as they were and the moves are unnecessary. If you feel like they are necessary, please discuss the "move" on the talk page of the page before moving it.-BRP ever 11:53, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

My revert was done by accident that the "previous" and "revert" button is too close and I press the wrong button by mistake. I apologize if I have offended you. Stang 15:51, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Removing content on deletion requests[change source]

Hey XǝNoX, thanks for your edits. When there's a deletion request, like there was on Á, there's no need to remove the content, unless it's an attack page or very inappropriate. If the article obviously meets QD rules but isn't an attack page or very inappropriate then there's no need to remove the content. After all, it will be deleted shortly. Thanks for your help! --Ferien (talk) 19:28, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

"Mathification" edits are also adding complex language. Please stop doing that.[change source]

Please read the Manual of Style and other Help pages. They are important for new editors on this wiki. I reverted this edit to addition because it added complex vocabulary and structures to the sentences.

For exampleː

  • Beforeː Another name for the total is the sum. (Simpler)
  • After your editː The result of an addition is called a sum (more complex)

Thank you, --Gotanda (talk) 21:50, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but I don't see how this is more complex. XǝNoX (talk) 21:51, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Have a look at these thenː
Before: In arithmetic, addition is finding the total of two or more numbers.
After: In an addition, the operands are called addends.
Use simple words and structures. Finding, total, and numbers are simple. Operands and addends are not. This is simple wiki, not technical language wiki. Gotanda (talk) 08:42, 26 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Well, okay, but that's just the truth. An addition is made of addends. XǝNoX (talk) 08:57, 26 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Gotanda speaks for all of us who are experienced on this wiki. New editors need to accept the limitations of our readers. I write on topics which are every bit as complicated as mathematics (genetics, for example) and it's fun to try and describe a concept in a way that our users may be able to understand. Addition table[change source]

Hi! Please see https://simple.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Addition&oldid=7886917. 89.8.131.154 (talk) 22:18, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Addition tables might be a better name for a new article. 89.8.102.194 (talk) 09:44, 26 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Moving 1, 10, 100, and 1,000 to new pages and redirecting is not helpful. Please revert those yourself[change source]

Each of those are in series. In the box in the upper right corner there are links to all numbers for example 100 (number) was preceded by 99 (number) and followed by 101 (number). Your changes break the pattern of navigation and organization. They are not helpful. Please undo them. You really need to slow down and pay attention to how this wiki works before you start to rearrange everything on your own with consulting with others. --Gotanda (talk) 02:52, 27 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have blocked you for a week for making disruptive page moves. BRPever told you very clearly that you need to discuss page moves like this through, and told you that you would be blocked if you continued. If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask. --Ferien (talk) 13:32, 27 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

As it appears you have abused logged-out editing, you have been blocked from editing indefinitely. You may appeal using the {{unblock}} template. Other administrators may email me for clarification.— *Fehufangą✉ Talk page 14:29, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
