Valdez–Cordova Census Area, Alaska

The Valdez–Cordova Census Area was a census area in the U.S. state of Alaska. As of the 2010 census, the population was 9,636.[1] It was part of the Unorganized Borough and therefore had no borough seat. Its largest communities were Valdez and Cordova.

In January 2019, the United States Census Bureau, in cooperation with the state of Alaska, divided the area into two new census areas.[2]
