Valentina Allegra de Fontaine is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.

[change | change source]Created by writer-artist Jim Steranko, she first appeared in the "Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D." feature in Strange Tales #159 (August 1967).
Fictional character biography
[change | change source]She is often associated with espionage and covert operations within the Marvel Universe. Valentina is portrayed as a skilled intelligence operative and has been involved with various Marvel characters, including Nick Fury and the Avengers.

[change | change source]In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Valentina is portrayed by actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus. She first appeared in the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Hawkeye, later appeared in the movies Black Widow and Thunderbolts*.
