Vehbi Akdağ

Vehbi Akdağ (1 January 1949 – 23 June 2020) was a Turkish wrestler. He was an Olympic silver medalist in Freestyle wrestling.[1] Akdağ competed at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich where he won a silver medal in featherweight class in Freestyle wrestling[2][3] He was born in Tokat, Turkey.[4]

Akdağ died on 23 June 2020 in Tokat, aged 71.[5]
