Vera Gancheva

Vera Gancheva (Bulgarian: Вера Лалева Ганчева, 23 February 1943 – 10 June 2020) was a Bulgarian translator. She would translate works from Scandinavian languages to Bulgarian. She was also a publisher and author. She studied and worked at the Sofia University. She was born in Sofia.

She was in 1990 nominating juror for the Neustadt International Prize for Literature.

Gancheva died on 10 June 2020 in Sofia, aged 77.
