Vera Gancheva

Vera Gancheva (Bulgarian: Вера Лалева Ганчева, 23 February 1943 – 10 June 2020) was a Bulgarian translator. She would translate works from Scandinavian languages to Bulgarian. She was also a publisher and author. She studied and worked at the Sofia University.[1] She was born in Sofia.

She was in 1990 nominating juror for the Neustadt International Prize for Literature.

Gancheva died on 10 June 2020 in Sofia, aged 77.[1]
