The WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship is a professional wrestling championship in WWE competed for by women of the Raw brand. The title was first presented on the November 25, 2024 episode of Raw.

Right now the champion is AJ Lee, who is in her first reign. She won the title by defeating Becky Lynch at Elimination Chamber on February 28, 2026 in Chicago, Illinois.

In April 2024, WWE introduced their first secondary women's title, the NXT Women's North American Championship, for their developmental brand NXT.[1] This led to speculation about WWE also creating similar titles for their main roster. On November 25, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce presented the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship as the newest title and a counterpart to the men's WWE Intercontinental Championship.[2] 17 days earlier, the WWE Women's United States Championship was revealed for the SmackDown brand.[3]

On December 2, a tournament to crown the first champion started. WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque revealed the tournament bracket, featuring 12 competitors. Triple Threat matches took place in the first round, with the winners of each competing the semifinals in singles matches. The finals took place on the January 13, 2025 episode of Raw. The competitors were Dakota Kai, Shayna Baszler, Katana Chance, Zoey Stark, Raquel Rodriguez, Kayden Carter, Lyra Valkyria, Zelina Vega, Ivy Nile, Alba Fyre, Iyo Sky,[b] and Natalya.[4] Kai, Stark, Valkyria and Sky won the Triple Threat matches. In the tournament finals, Valkyria defeated Kai to become the first champion.[5]
