A waffle iron or a waffle maker is a kitchen tool mostly used to cook waffles. It can be made by any material used in kitchen pans, but it is commonly cast-iron.[1] First, the iron gets heated, the batter gets poured into the iron, then the cooker is closed shut until the waffles are done or a set timer is finished.
