Ward Plummer

E. Ward Plummer (October 30, 1940 – July 23, 2020) was an American physicist. His main works were in surface physics of metals. Plummer was a Professor of Physics at Louisiana State University.[1][2][3] He was born in Astoria, Oregon. In 2014, he was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Plummer died in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on July 23, 2020 at the age of 79.[4]
