"When the Tigers Broke Free" is a song by Pink Floyd featured in the musical movie Pink Floyd - The Wall. It is about the main character, Pink, remembering the death of his father in World War II's Operation Shingle in Anzio, Italy. In 2004, a new version of the song was released on The Final Cut.
