Snake311 (talk · contribs) First off, I would like to receive some feedback from the community about my contributions I have given for this project. I request to know what my strengths and positive editing has done and what my weaknesses or flaws are. I hope to improve so that I can make myself a better Wikipedian. Some of the things I have contributed to are creating and/or expanding articles to GA or VGA-status. I also have participated in community discussions and have been willing to work with other users. I have also had first-hand experience with reverting vandalism and currently holds a rollback flag. Additionally, I pursue on self-improvement to my flaws. What my top priorities as a Wikipedian is how I can make myself a better Wikipedian. --§ Snake311 (I'm Not Okay!) 04:40, 13 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Review by Razorflame: Your work here on the Simple English Wikipedia has been great thus far and you have done some great work for the community with your creation of articles about the weather and storms and such. However, you can be a bit confrontational at times and even a bit testy. I would also like to see a bit more participation in community discussions. Hope this helps you understand some of your strengths and downfalls. Cheers, Razorflame 17:20, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Review by fr33kman t - c You have been on project for quite some time (since June 2006), although as a different username than you use today. It is good to see you un-retired and I hope that this will be the beginning of a flood of former editors returning to the project now, especially as the community becomes more protective of itself and former editors see this. I think I've made it clear enough that I like to see mainspace editing because that's where the project lives and breaths. You have a wealth of knowledge and history about seWP that you can share with newer editors like me and I'd like to see you do that. Nothing negative to say! Welcome back fr33kman t - c 14:34, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I have created and contributed to a wide variety of articles. Some I am pleased about are, 2006 Central Pacific cyclone, Tropical Depression Sixteen (2008), Tropical Storm Gabrielle (2007), Subtropical cyclone, Tropical Storm Zeta (2005), and so on. Most of them are tropical cyclone or meteorology articles.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
In the beginning which was a few years ago, I have received a bit of commotion from Netoholic and felt that I have been harrassed by Chacor. Ever since they have left the project, I have gotten a stable relationship with the community with considerably less friction between me and other users. I have promised to forget the past and look onto the future with a better outlook. How I would deal with this in the future would be to talk it out rather get involved in a edit war, or ask an administrator to help things out before things got worse.
