I am requesting for patroller. I have been contributing by creating multiple articles and improving the quality of content. I am familiar with Wikipedia's policies, including BLP, Copyright, Verifiability, and Notability, and I am committed to maintain these standards in all my contributions.Mr.Hanes Talk 14:48, 7 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I've taken a look through your article creations, and it looks ok. Just make sure to try and make the articles as simple as possible. I've given you the flag, which will make your new article contributions automatically patrolled, and allow you to patrol other articles. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 19:40, 7 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much! I will ensure to follow your advice and contribute positively to this platform. Mr.Hanes Talk 19:51, 7 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I am requesting for patroller rights today. I have created over 70 articles in this wiki. I am familiar with this wikipedia's policies, including those about copyright infringement, biographies (notability) and if a source is verifiable. My most qualified article is probably Max Maeder. I patroll new pages regularly. If you have any issues please let me know. Thanks. Cactus🌵 spiky 07:58, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Cactusisme:  Not done On this wiki, the patroller right includes autopatrol. That means articles created by patrollers don't appear as needing to be patrolled. I just looked a some of the articles you creates and they did need patrolling. Some of the issues I saw were:
  • Article not categorized
  • Complex language
  • Reference display not properly formatted
Not only do those things mean that the articles you created needed patrolling, but you might not recognize the issues in other articles you look at. So for now, I'd say to work on creating better articles here. -- Auntof6 (talk) 10:05, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I’m requesting Autopatrolled rights for my account. I have contributed a significant number of edits, voting in Rfds and is well familiar about assessing the Notability required for page creations and is also familiar with WP:GNG, WP:BLP and WP:Verifiablity.

I believe these rights would help my workflow and reduce the load on reviewers. Ksy 11:40, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Looking over your changes, could you explain your understanding of the process for attribution of imported articles and article categorisation? Griff (talk) 13:52, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, When we are importing articles from other wiki projects/languages, a proper attribution is 'Must' when publishing it on simplewiki.org. This attribution either be on the 'Talk page' or in the 'Change Summary' section. Other than this, also the article needs to be simplified (not mere copy pasting). Infact, simplification is the Norm/essence of Simplewikipedia.org.
The other part regarding the artcile categorisation, It is important part of the Article that make it assessable to the relevant users on Wikipedia. Normally, atleat one category is must as per Wikipedia:Categories. I prefer to add maximum number of relevant categories. And in case, if there is no relevant category available, the lowest existing matching category is added to the page. --Ksy 14:46, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
 Not done
Ksy, after a review of some of your recent creations, I have the following concerns.
  • The content of the articles have not been wikified. Many terms/subjects that should be wikilinked have not been.
  • The content of the articles has not been sufficiently simplified. Words such as rigorous and encompassing should be avoided.
  • The articles are not properly categorised. Several articles that were created have red-linked (non-existent) categories.
I would like to see more articles created from you that do not have the above concerns and also follow MOS guidelines for article structure and section naming. One thing I did LOVE about your articles is your extensive sourcing, in fact, they were some of the best sourced new articles I have seen. However, I felt that sometimes you included facts from sources that might not always flow with the content. I recommend reading through some of our very good articles to help improve the writing style.
That all being said, I really appreciate all the work you have done so far and I learned a lot from reading through your articles. I look forward to seeing a future request from you as I can see that you will be a great help to the patrolling team.
If you have any questions or would like an article review, feel free to ask on ST (or ask me directly, although it may take me a few days to do it). Best, Griff (talk) 15:52, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I really appreciate your kind words and suggestions and will work on it accordingly. Ksy 16:26, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I think over my six months, I have gained the knowledge needed to become a patroller. I am very active on Recent Changes and can appropriately RFD articles with good reasons or QD articles appropriately and sensibly. I also know how to deal with new articles. I've also fully read WP:PATROL and understand the rules. Thanks, ⯎ Asteralee ⯎ 23:44, 25 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I think over my three years, I have gained the knowledge needed to become a patroller. I am very active on Recent Changes and can appropriately RFD articles with good reasons appropriately and sensibly. I also know how to deal with new articles. I've also fully read WP:PATROL and understand the guidelines, It's worth mentioning that I also have a working knowledge of Spanish language, so I can handle articles of that nature. it would be a pleasure for me to be able to contribute in this way. Thanks, User:Sir Banking 22:51, 5 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Not done On this Wikipedia, the patroller right includes autopatrolled, which means that pages created by a patroller are automatically marked as patrolled. I looked at some of the pages you created, and they do need patrolling because they are not in simple language.
Also, you say you are very active on Recent changes, but I don't see evidence of that in your edit history. If you request this right again, it would help if you point out what you have done in connection with things you see on Recent changes (not including things you created). It would also help if you use edit summaries so that your edit history shows the purpose of your edits.
To sum up, before requesting patroller again, improve the articles you create, and use edit summaries so that admins can find the things they're looking for when evaluating a request for patroller. -- Auntof6 (talk) 21:56, 6 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not done While given some time I'm sure you could be a patroller, your edit count is rather low (less than 200 as of writing), you only started editing a couple days ago and one of the pages you made recently was deleted under quick deletion. All these factors make me believe its a bit too early to grant the rights.- FusionSub (Talk page) (Contributions) 10:03, 25 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I want to request for patrol rights, I've created over 80 live articles. This articles that i created myself includes iPhone 15, iPhone 16e and Samsung Galaxy S25. Raayaan9911 18:54, 19 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Raayaan9911 Your pages are generally okay, but have some errors. Touch_ID#History for example, I don't understand what On 3 December 2013, Touch ID not working on iPhone 5s. means. Does it mean it stopped working in iPhone 5s. I think the pages do generally need some copyediting, so I am gonna close this as  Not done for now. Please come back with more experience. BRP ever 04:38, 25 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@BRPever, i fixed it. I also created my user space as example of User:Raayaan9911/Saudi passport. Can you review me see if my rights was granted or not? Raayaan9911 04:45, 25 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It's too short for me to say, but your pages generally need copyediting so I am going to decline this request for now.-- BRP ever 04:49, 25 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I have been working around here off and on for some time and would like to help with patrolling pages. I’ve created 35 articles and plan to create a lot more simplified music articles. I understand the guidelines regarding writing articles from experience here and on enwiki, so the auto-patrol shouldn’t be an issue (though I welcome any feedback about my article creation). I am familiar with the guidelines for patrolling, notability, BLP, etc and have participated a bit in RfD. If it’s relevant, I also maintain page patrol permissions on enwiki. Thanks! Garsh (talk) 02:01, 27 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I also patrol pages using new pages. Thanks, Cactus🌵 hi 08:20, 27 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Done having gone through your contributions I can see that you create new articles often and that is one of the requirements for patroller. fr33kman 00:35, 23 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much, it is a pleasure to be able to share my experience. Sir Banking (talk) 01:07, 23 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Please note, that now with patroller rights, your new articles are usually not overseen by other users. I just checked your most recent articles. Please always make sure that they are simple and have categories and that they are tagged as stubs as needed: Special:Diff/10412054 & Special:Diff/10412058. That was pretty much the reason I did not hand out the right automatically upon reviewing the new pages feed. -Barras talk 07:47, 23 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm always learning and appreciate your feedback sir. Your suggestions often highlight things I might miss, and as a patroller, I'll make sure to follow Wikipedia's guidelines even more closely from now on. Thanks for trusting me with this responsibility, I really appreciate it. Sir Banking (talk) 22:44, 23 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I am requesting patroller be added to myself. I have made many articles from the simple wiki and have experience with patrolling pages already on enwiki and informally on the simple wiki (tagging pages connecting to wikidata etc). I understand the policies and guidelines associated with this. Thank you. Bobherry Talk My Changes 13:43, 23 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not done I checked some of the pages you created, and they seem to require a significant amount of work or tag to be marked as patrolled. One of the things about this right is that it automatically marks the assigned user's page as patrolled. I think you should read some of our very good pages to learn more about how the content work is done here. Thanks, --BRP ever 13:55, 23 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hiya! I don't think my edits/creations need to necessarily be watched. My recent articles have all been properly categorized and created, and I am willing to help out with patrolling if necessary. Thank you! Justarandomamerican (tc) 12:10, 8 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not done - Sorry, you've created seven articles here. Your most recently created article dates back to February. I just checked them, and leaving Severe thunderstorm watch in this state doesn't convince me to grant that right. I use the new page patrol feature to fix new articles and this flag would leave such articles most likely unfixed. -Barras talk 16:40, 8 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I would like to request patroller rights.

I had requested a few months back, but my edit count was relatively low. I have been actively contributing through creating new articles and improving existing ones. In my edits, I make sure to follow community guidelines and focus on accuracy and quality. Over time, I have developed a solid understanding of policies and feel confident in recognizing constructive edits as well as spotting potential issues. I would like to support the community further by helping to maintain the quality of new contributions and patrolling recent changes.

Thank you for considering my request. Shubhsamant09 20:56, 19 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Shubhsamant09. Thanks for the request. The patroller right is pretty much only for patrolling Special:Newpages and making sure the new articles are either in good shape or be tagged accordingly. I'd actually like to see some more recent article creations, to see that you know the article-how-to. Your last created article is from July and actually has some referencing issues which need to be fixed and also was created without categories. -Barras talk 21:10, 19 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I haven't been creating lots of new articles since most of my work nowadays has been correcting false information and expanding short articles. Shubhsamant09 21:15, 19 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Just to let you know, I have just created my 55th article - Tonpa Shenrab Miwoche. Shubhsamant09 00:00, 22 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
As another admin reviewing this, I have to say  Not done. The main thing about patroller is it including autopatrol, but some of your articles still need patrolling as Barras pointed out. Expanding new articles is very much a welcome task but we need to see more of how you create articles from scratch to get an idea of what you think articles should look like. --Ferien (talk | join TBA!) 07:32, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
So do you want me to show you some other articles I created? Shubhsamant09 22:53, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Realistically, as the permission includes the auto patrolled role, we'd need to be sure that ALL (or close to all) articles you create do not need supervision.
Some of your articles need to be looked at by patrollers, so I'd like a history of new articles that are fine to award this permission. Maybe if you created a handful of articles now you have some experience, we can judge based on newer items? Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 16:19, 27 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
As I states in a previous comment, I haven't made lots of articles recently, except Tonpa Shenrab Miwoche Shubhsamant09 17:02, 27 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
But, if we have someone patroling others, we want to be sure that they are doing it correctly themselves. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 17:09, 27 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
So you want me to create new articles now, and then you'll reconsider the current request? Shubhsamant09 23:17, 27 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know about others, but I would certainly be more interested in giving out the perm to someone who shows they know how articles should look. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 11:09, 28 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I have created 55 articles till date, the latest being Tonpa Shenrab Miwoche. Shubhsamant09 20:43, 28 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Have been regularly making pages without issue and looking over recent changes regularly. I would like to help with page patrolling. Immanuelle ❤️💚💙 (please tag me) 20:02, 15 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
As the admin who advocated for Immanuelle' s unblock, I won't process this request, as I feel involved, but I will say that I support her getting the bit. Since coming back to main space she has created many articles none of which were especially problematic. She's also been nominating pages for deletion so is obviously checking on new articles. Regards fr33kman 21:29, 15 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Not done I want to note I too have been happy with her progress since she's been unblocked so this isn't based on that. But for you to get patroller, your articles need to be patrollable, and I don't think this is the case yet. Motorcycle sport, for instance, is just beyond a dic-def, D'Angelo (disambiguation) has the "See also" heading in it, and reflist templates are missing on a few pages. So I think you need to spend a little more time getting used to being back in mainspace. Please don't let this discourage you. Thank you, --Ferien (talk | join TBA!) 21:42, 15 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
