I know I'm probably too early on this, but I at least want to give it a shot. I've been on the Simple English Wikipedia for about a month now. I have made 227 total edits as of writing (304 edits as of 01:46, 23 February 2017 (UTC)) and the vast majority of these edits have been reverting vandalism. In addition, my quick deletion log will show you that I have tagged over 20 inappropriate pages for deletion just in the past three days. I could really use rollback to help with my vandal fighting - it's quicker than Twinkle rollback or the undo button, and I think that I could really make good use of it. Well, is there any status on this? I'm now approaching 500 edits as of writing this comment, and I would like to here from an admin as soon as possible. @Only: @Auntof6: Agrave Banks --- (talk - contribs - email) 21:43, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Not done Considering your history on the English Wikipedia, I do not feel comfortable with allowing you to have rollback here. Only (talk) 22:47, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
So I am now permanently unable to get any permissions here because of another project? Wow. Agrave Banks --- (talk - contribs - email) 23:08, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe if you prove yourself here for a long time, someone might be willing to. But I can't stomach the idea of giving permissions to a user whose main account is globally locked due to abuse and has over 22 sockpuppets. I also cannot stomach the idea of allowing you to have permissions while you are STILL socking on the English Wikipedia today. Only (talk) 23:18, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The issue at EN Wikipedia started with a single comment made by an admin at my original talk page. The hoaxes I created were not true, but they were based off of things that were true. However, an admin failed to regonize that, and made this comment. I took that as harsh and offensive, and after I called out the admin for doing such, he removed my talk page access with no good explanation given. If it wasn't for that episode, the whole socking spree would not have even happened. I was a lot more immature back then, and so I really felt the need to retaliate after that. Also, I must note that my main account is globally locked for no good reason - as I was only banned on two projects then, now one project. However, even a Wikimedia Steward failed to accept that concept. Agrave Banks --- (talk - contribs - email) 23:27, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You say you felt hte need to retaliate then...so why are you still socking if you're now "mature"? Only (talk) 00:04, 24 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

(reset indent) This is not the place for discussion about bans on another project, and therefore this thread is effectively closed. You have made your point and I have made mine. If we do not agree, we shouldn't try to continue discussing it as it will just end up in an all-out dispute. Agrave Banks --- (talk - contribs - email) 00:14, 24 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
