Kennedy - Edition 2[change source]
Well, Simple News Edition 1 was a relative success. There were a few issues with formatting and the method of delivery which have now been sorted out, so the next issues will be perfect!
I am writing this with weeks to go before delivery of the next edition of Simple News, and I can't wait. Its all very exciting. Currently there are 23 people who want this monthly delivery, and a good number of contributors who want to get involved.
With this delivery of Edition 2, I will be proposing that Simple News is relocated to a new home in the Wikipedia: namespace to really get more people to help out.
There will be many new features coming soon. I will interview even more editors for the QandA, some articles written by new users, and some other stuff!
Look out soon for an even more information-packed newsletter in the new year!
Spin-off[change source]
WOW! after only one edition, Simple News already has its own spin-off newsletter. Over at Simple.Wikiquote, you can find a similar news page. While I don't want to complain, and be accused of WP:OWN, I do feel that they could have made an effort instead of just copying all the code that our editors here have worked on. It is an exact copy of Simple News, only with the name changed. Anyway, with a smaller userbase and less activity, lets watch with anticipation at how successful it will be compared to Simple News.

Finally, because this is the last edition of Simple News before the Christmas break, I would like to take this oppertunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
