Remove flag from own account[change source]

What do you think about the idea to set $wgGroupsRemoveFromSelf['flood'][] = 'flood';, so that flooders can remove the flood flag from their own account and don't have to ask a admin to do so? --Zabe (talk) 17:46, 15 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

We need admins to remove it, because the granting admin is expected to then go through their edits and verify they were good. If a user removed it from their own account the admin would not know they were done and that it was time to check. -Djsasso (talk) 11:00, 5 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
