Reasons for page protections[change source]
Please list pages you protect here, with the reason for the protection. Also note reasons for unprotecting pages.
Text Of The GNU Free Documentation License and Wikipedia:Copyrights were protected to maintain the integrity of these legal documents.
Logs such as the Wikipedia:Deletion log, Wikipedia:Protection log and Wikipedia:Block log are protected as they should not be edited manually.
- User:Mariusz Marcel Ernst was protected to stop vandalism by a banned user.
- I protected the main page after two edits where it was blanked out or made unusable. I unprotected it shortly after. I read where Angela said she doesn't want the Main Page to be protected while he vandalism is so low. I'll keep it unprotected unless someone is very persistent in making it unusable.

- I unprotected Wikipedia:Copyrights. It doesn't contain anything worth protecting, and the fact we are GFDL is mentioned in all the footers anyway. Angela 04:46, 29 Feb 2004 (UTC)
- I protected Talk:Simple English Lessons because that page was filled with spam and deleted eight times during the month of August 2005. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 23:17, 21 August 2005 (UTC)
