I saw that in the french version of this page, they added an example of vandalism box. Each column describes a kind of vandalism with examples of pages that had been vandalised, I thought that might be a good idea to add a similar box to this page. --Homespun-bleach 02:50, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'll go ahead and make that later if nobody minds. Oysterguitarist 15:30, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In the first sentence where it says " so that it becomes incorrect or does not make sense" I think it should be " so that it becomes incorrect, does not make sense, or makes other people angry."69.119.241.5 (talk) 19:26, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Request[change source]

Under "Tracing IP Addresses" "...in one, it will might be in a different one." should be "...in one, it might be in a different one." SpinkZeroZero (talk) 18:46, 13 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Change "replacing" to "replace"?[change source]

You say "Remove information from pages, and maybe replacing it with nonsense, for no good reason". But I think it would sound gooder with "replace" and not "replacing". But I normally write in normal English, not simple English, so I thinked I should ask and and not just change it. Pretended leer (talk) 17:50, 16 October 2018 (UTC) Same asking in normal English: The page says "Remove information from pages, and maybe replacing it with nonsense, for no good reason". But I think it would sound better with the word "replace" instead of "replacing". But I'm used to writing in regular English, not simple English, so I thought I'd ask first and not just change it myself. Pretended leer (talk) 17:50, 16 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

not vandalism[change source]

Should there be a "what is not vandalism" section like on enwiki? the Changes are not vandalism. also references it so it may be a good idea. Computer Fizz (talk) 22:10, 15 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Warning templates[change source]

How do you warn a user vandalizing? and what about subtle vandalism? Gale5050 (talk) 13:32, 22 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"he or she"[change source]

{{editsemiprotected}} I've noticed on the page 4 instances of "he or she" which I think could be: a) sort of offensive to people to who don't use those pronouns b) and also shortened to "they" which is easier to write and less offensive. Thanks! 185.69.144.133 (talk) 17:11, 5 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I kind of agree with you because you seem to be in good faith unlike those IP ragamuffins who say that there IP is a park, care. -- Kunjarpunch / [ t ] 16:12, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Do we need the image showing what an example of vandalism is? We shouldn't be giving examples of how to cause disruption... --Ferien (talk) 22:21, 4 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
