Barefoot?[change source]

This is a very nice article! But...is Wikipe-tan really always barefoot? She looks like she has black stockings on to me. Classical Esther (talk) 02:19, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well I will try to explain. From Wikipe-tan in Spanish Wikipedia They ask why is she "descalza". "Descalza" in Spanish means "without any shoes". And "Descalza" = "Barefoot". Is there any other word to say it? --すけ Nya? 02:41, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe we can just write that she is "without shoes" and take the "barefoot" part out entirely; it sounds a little funny when I say, "...so she is always with stockings." And "barefoot" usually means that you just go around in, well, bare feet - without socks or anything like that. ^^ Anyway, thank you for responding so quickly! You write articles very neatly. Yours respectfully, Classical Esther (talk) 07:30, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
For now, I changed it from "She is not wearing any shoes and because of that she is always barefoot" to "She never wears shoes". I hope it'll help! Classical Esther (talk) 09:57, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You are welcome to improve my contributions like this. I make this mistakes because English is not my first language but I am improving, I thank you and encourage you to make changes to improve my edits. --すけ Nya? 14:28, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It was my sincere pleasure! You seem really very good at English to me.:)Oh, and I think this article needs some references (where it came from). For instance, "Wikipe-tan has gained lots of popularity..." needs a reference, or that it is the mascot of English Wikipedia. Happy editing! It came from Spanish Wikipedia and English Wikipedia. I mixed a translation. It is shown in the history that is a derivate of the Spanish article.
The English anime project and here you can see its very popular. I think this does not need references as it is. --すけ Nya? 00:06, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, then maybe you should put a template (like...enwp based for english wikipedia based) on the page..Classical Esther 05:23, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The history says it in the 1º edition of the page that is derivated from.... --すけ Nya? 06:38, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
