Will Theunissen

Will Theunissen (30 June 1954 – 1 May 2020) was a Dutch guitarist.[1] He was born in Nijmegen. Theunissen was the founder of the Jazz Rock band Elevator from Nijmegen, which was active in the 1970s.

Together with Frank Boeijen he was from the beginning part of the Frank Boeijen Groep, becoming notable in the 1980s.

His best known songs were Doe Iets, Zwart Wit and 1.000.000 Sterren of the album Kontakt (1984). They reached the Dutch Top 40.[2]

Theunissen died in Tiel on 1 May 2020, aged 65.[3]
