William Joseph Bauer

William Joseph Bauer (born September 15, 1926) is an American judge. He was born in Chicago, Illinois. He is the Senior Judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit since October 31, 1994.[1] He served as Chief Judge of the court from 1986 through 1993. He was nominated to serve by President Gerald Ford.
