"Wouldn't It Be Nice" is a 1966 song by The Beach Boys and is the opening track to 11th studio album Pet Sounds. It went to number 2 in Australia, number 8 in the United States, number 58 in the United Kingdom, number 12 in New Zealand and number 4 in Canada. It is considered to be the work of power pop than progressive pop sounding.
