The yellow golden mole (Calcochloris obtusirostris) is a type of mammal in the family Chrysochloridae. It is found in Mozambique, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forest, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, dry savanna, moist savanna, arable land, pastureland, plantations, and rural gardens.[3] Yellow golden moles like to dig at the base of trees and make underground nests. It mainly eats insects, bugs, small lizards, flies, and other tiny animals found underground.
