Yitzhak Yosef

Yitzhak Yosef, Hebrew: יצחק יוסף , (born January 16, 1952 in Jerusalem) is an Israeli Orthodox rabbi.

He has been Chief Rabbi of Israel on behalf of the Sephardi Jews since August 14, 2013, succeeding Shlomo Amar.

His father Ovadia Yosef (died 2013) had the same position from 1973 to 1983.

His Ashkenazic counterpart is David Lau.
