Yoshio Mochizuki
Yoshio Mochizuki (望月 義夫, Mochizuki Yoshio, 2 May 1947 – 19 December 2019) was a Japanese politician. He was a member of the Liberal Democratic Party. He served as a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature) from 1996 to 2009, and from 2011 until his death in 2019. He was also Minister of the Environment from 2014 to 2015. He was a native of Shimizu, Shizuoka and a graduate of Chuo University.
Mochizuki died on 19 December 2019 at a hospital in Shimizu, Shizuoka of liver failure. He was 72.[1]
