Yoshishige Yoshida (吉田 喜重, Yoshida Yoshishige, born 16 February 1933), also known as Kijū Yoshida, is a Japanese movie director and screenwriter.

He has directed more than 20 movies between 1960 and 2004. His movie A Promise was screened in the Un Certain Regard section the 1986 Cannes Film Festival.[1] Two years later his movie Wuthering Heights would compete for the Golden Palm at the 1988 Festival.[2]

He is married to actress Mariko Okada.[3]
