Yuri Tsunematsu (恒松 祐里, Tsunematsu Yuri; born October 9, 1998),[3] is a Japanese actress. She started as a child actress in a very small role in the TV show Ruri's Island (2005).[3] Since then, she has been in many known TV shows, such as 5→9 From Five to Nine (2015), Sanada Maru (2016), The Naked Director (2021), and Alice in Borderland (2022). She works for the company Amuse.

​Tsunematsu started her career when she was in kindergarten.[4] Her parents heard about tryouts and auditions for acting companies, Amuse and Parco. They chose to have her try out. Tsunematsu passed both tryouts.[4]

​Tsunematsu had her first official acting job as a child in a very small part in the 2005 TV show Ruri's Island. Next, she had her first movie role in Killer Bride's Perfect Crime in 2009.[4]

​In 2015, she got her first role in an Asadora (morning TV show), playing Tomomi Okesaku in Mare.[5] Later that year, Tsunematsu had a supporting role in the show 5→9 From Five to Nine. She first tried out for the lead role, but the role went to Satomi Ishihara. Still, Tsunematsu was picked to be the main star's younger sister, Nene Sakuraba. This was her first regular job in a TV show.[6]

On June 7, 2016, she was the main star in the 9th episode of the show Bishōjo Next Girl meets Tokyo, which was her first main role in a TV show.[7] In September, Tsunematsu was set to star in the movie version of the Light novel Sagrada Reset as Eri Oka. The movie came out in two parts.[8] The first part came out on March 25, 2017, and the second part on May 13, 2017.[9]

​In 2017, she starred in her first action movie in Before We Vanish as Akira Tachibana. The movie came out in Japan on September 9, 2017.[10][11] In October 2017, she was named as part of the actors for Saki Achiga-hen: episode of side-A, the second part of the show and movie based on the manga Saki.[12] The show started on MBS on December 3, 2017, and the movie came out on January 20, 2018.[13]

​In February 2020, Tsunematsu was the main star in episodes 5 and 6 of the show 100 Character Ideas Made into a Drama!.[14] That same year, she won the Newcomer Award at the 2020 Osaka Film Festival for her acting in the movie Sea of Revival, which first came out on June 28, 2019.[15]

​In 2021, Tsunematsu joined the actors for the second season of the Netflix show, The Naked Director.[16] She played the role of the new main girl. That same year, she played Asumi Nomura in the Asadora show Welcome Home, Monet. This was her second morning show role in six years since Mare in 2015.[17] On July 10, she released her first photo book called Monthly Tsunematsu Yuri.[18]

​In 2022, Tsunematsu got her first main role in a movie in Kisaragi Station as Haruna Tsutsumi. The movie came out on June 3, 2022.[19]
