Yves Poilane (born 11 December 1959) is a French manager and President of universities. He is the former Director of the technological department of the IONIS Education Group, the first group in France for private higher education.[1]
Poilane graduated from École Polytechnique. He also graduated from Télécom ParisTech with a Master's degree. He has a career in telecommunications.[2] In 1989, he moved to higher education by joining Telecom Bretagne as Deputy Manager. Then, he became CEO of Télécom ParisTech in 2007 before joining IONIS Education Group in 2019.[3] He retires in December 2023, replaced by Philippe Jamet.[4]
