Jorge Edmundo Coscia (26 August 1952 – 7 October 2021) was an Argentine movie director, screenwriter and politician. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was a member of the Justicialist Party. His best known movies were El general y la fiebre, Chorros and Luca vive.
Coscia was a member of the Argentine Chamber of Deputies. He was an ally of President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. He was the Secretary of Culture from 2009 until 2014.
Coscia died on 7 October 2021 in Buenos Aires after a long-illness, aged 68.[1]
