National Hero of Azerbaijan

The National Hero of Azerbaijan is the highest title in Azerbaijan.^[1] The law on the title has been in effect since December 25, 1995.^[1] The title is awarded for courage and exceptional service to the people of the Republic of Azerbaijan.^[1] It can be given only once to the same person.^[2]
