Comilla is a city in south-eastern Bangladesh. It is along the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway. It is the center of the Comilla District and part of the Chittagong Division. There were 166,519 people at the 2001 Census. The Eastern Wing of Bangladesh Highway Police is in Comilla. Gumti and Little Feni Rivers pass through the town.
