English: Hurricane Fernanda of the 2023 Pacific hurricane season at its maximum intensity as a Category 4 Major Hurricane as imaged by the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) aboard NOAA's Suomi-NPP satellite during the afternoon of August 14, 2023. It had 1-min sustained winds of 130 mph (210 km/h) and an official minimum central pressure of 955 mbar (28.2 inHg) at the time this image was captured. |
