From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
An intersection is where two or more roads come together. Intersections are also known as junctions. At an intersection, there can be stop signs on one or both sides of the intersection. There can also be a stop light.

There are two major types of intersections.
- 3-way intersection
- Also called a T intersection, 3-way intersections make a T-like shape.
- 4-way intersection
- 4-way intersections make a cross- or +-like shape.
