- Luis von Ahn[1] - he has the award, the Grace Murray Hopper Award; he is a researcher of computer science.
- Ricardo Bressani - he got the award, Albert Einstein World Award of Science;[2] he died in 2015

- Jean-Baptiste Chavannes - he got the Goldman Environmental Prize for his work on forest protection; he is an agronomist.[3]
- Jean Wiener (biologist) - he got the Goldman Environmental Prize; he is a marine biologist.
