The flag of Morocco was adopted on 17 November 1915. It has a red field with the green pentagram, a five-pointed linear star.[1]
The Moroccan flag is represented by a 5-pointed star (seal of Solomon) on a red background. The green star represents Moroccan tribes, the red background represents ports and airports. This flag symbolizes the opening (green) of the country to tourism after the closure (red). The closure symbolizes Franco-Spanish colonization and the impossibility of generating a climate favorable to tourism.
