Franz Schneider (born c. 1900s) was a German sprint canoeist from in Cologne, who competed in the 1930s.

Schneider won three times the German title in the K-2 1000 metres event from 1931 to 1933 together with Paul Wevers, also from Cologne.[1][2] Representing Germany, the duo won the gold medal at the 1933 Canoe Sprint European Championships [de] in the F-2 event over 10 kilometres.[2][3]
