Improving the article[change source]
I don't know, I am not the expert on rabbits, I do however see a few things that could be improved:
- At the moment the article is mainly about rabbits as pets. Most rabbits live in the wild though.
- Rabbits are different from hares, yet, a hare looks like a large rabbit.
- Rabbits somewhat resemble pikas, but are still different.
- Despite what people believe, several rabbits are endangered; the en:Riverine Rabbit has probably less than 200 left, worldwide. Of course these are not the cute rabbits people keep as pets.
- At least in Europe, rabbits are a common food meat.
- Rabbits in Australia (invasive species, introduced for food, and for hunting, I think),
- Many mythologies have stories involving rabbits
- Alice in Wonderland has a rabbit in it.
- Various superstitions (rabbit's paw is for luck)
I don't know, these are just ideas.--Eptalon (talk) 12:56, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
Specific[change source]
I've realised that this article has some thecnical vocabulary, I DO NOT say that for examle it han't got to be written "chordata" but the vocabulary could be more simply and the article longer--79.148.56.165 (talk) 14:21, 27 October 2011 (UTC)
