Question to Macdonald-ross[change source]

Hi there, I was wondering why you deleted everything I wrote for the Spanish Sahara page on Simple Wikipedia. On your User page, you said not to use too much info from regular Wikipedia, so I tried to keep it short and used other sources too. Can you tell me why you deleted most of it and only left the first paragraph? This was my first article, and I tried to follow the Simple Wikipedia rules. I'm just asking so I can explain what were your motivations to delete all this work,

The answer's always the same: it was too complex linguistically. And rather verbose (more long-winded than necessary). Macdonald-ross (talk) 08:28, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much for your answer, I will work on some improvements in the next few days and make some updates. Feel free to give me a feedback after those improvements. Joshshan (talk) 11:52, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Now it's just about acceptable... What authors need to keep in mind are the younger readers and those whose native language is not English. Macdonald-ross (talk) 14:05, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your feedback. I made every effort to incorporate your advice, including aspects like avoiding links to English Wikipedia which I hadn't been aware of. Your guidance has been crucial in improving my work. Joshshan (talk) 14:14, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You see, I would have used "take" or "use" instead of "incorporate". Of course, I understand it, but it's a good example. Most things that are worth saying can be said simply, with the exception of technical discussions. Macdonald-ross (talk) 08:30, 26 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
