It's great to see your name back in recent changes!--Gordonrox24 | Talk 02:45, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Signature

Please check "Treat signature as Wikitext (without automatic link)" in your preferences. Your signature doesn't look very nice. --Chemicalinterest (talk) 15:53, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is how mine looks if I do not check that box: Chemicalinterest (talk) (talk) 15:54, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

About my edit; I hope it made you curious as to what I did. Anyway, I'll try to add more helpful edit summaries in the future. :) Happy holidays, --Chemicalinterest (talk) 15:59, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki changed while I was away, I thought it was a new browser. My sig is sorted now. Bärliner 23:35, 28 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A service award

Congratulations on having worked on the Simple English Wikipedia for more than three years, and having completed more than 20,000 edits in that time. You truly deserve the book (or the medal if you prefer). This level of service means that you are one of this projects top contributors. Thankyou! Peterdownunder (talk) 01:15, 29 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for this. Bärliner 14:47, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Creating identical pages from other Wikipedias

Keep up the good work. Your recent creation Remagen is almost identical to the one on the English Wikipedia. In order to use those articles, please follow the instructions at this location, thank you. Jon@talk:~$ 18:44, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Quick deletion of Reichstag (building)

The page you wrote, Reichstag (building), has been selected for quick deletion. This is because the page was a page that had no content. If you think this page should be kept, please add wait below the line QD and say why on the talk page. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. Bärliner 16:59, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone please undelete my page

Somebody erased my Generation Y article without notifying me and with no warnings beforehand. I'd like the page to be undeleted, as it contains very vital information and meanings. — Preceding unsigned comment added by September 1988 (talkcontribs) 11:32, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar

What a Brilliant Idea Barnstar
For adding a section to Riaz Ahmed Gohar Shahi about "Reports of death". Kansan (talk) 14:05, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the What a Brilliant Idea Barnstar. I hope the section has calmed some strong feelings. Bärliner 01:09, 24 February 2011 (UTC)

Cookies

Clementina has given you some cookies! Now enjoy them!

I'm really glad you've returned, dear Barliner - Simple Wikipedia is running much more smoothly now that you're here, fixing articles, calming disputes, and being generally a great editor. Thanks for all your help! Warmly, —Clementina talk 10:54, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I disagree so much. Kofi Annan has nothing to do with UNESCO World Heritage Sites. He did not win because of anything he did regarding UNESCO, nor did the UN. On Wikipedia the Nobel Prize template is not on the article. I think it is confusing to add that whole Nobel Prize template because it overwhelms that little article with something that has nothing do do with it. My opinion! It would be better to have a template showing all the World Heritage Sites, I think. Mattisse (talk) 20:51, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have not touched the UNESCO article, only the United Nations article, and the medal template deserves to be on the UN article as they did win Bärliner 20:57, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
OK. It's too bad that template is so big! I am going to add the information to the Kofi Annan article, as it doesn't appear to mention it at all. Mattisse (talk) 21:00, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar

The Tireless Contributor Barnstar
For all your hard work creating articles, categorizing, fighting vandalism, I award you this barnstar! Great job, Maximillion Pegasus (talk) 16:02, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your RfA

Congratulations~

Hi there, just wanted to let you know I've promoted you back to adminship because of your successful RfA. Let me know if you have any questions, and good luck. –Juliancolton | Talk 21:57, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Congrats on passing the RfA which has been closed as successful. You surely already know where the old new buttons are ;-) However, please (re-)subscribe our mailinglist here if not done already. Please also send me a short mail via wiki mail, so I can confirm this address. If you use IRC, feel free to ping me there to get access to our simplewiki admin channel and the global admin channel. -Barras (talk) 21:59, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey man. You may want to turn on clean delete in your account settings. Thanks!--Gordonrox24 | Talk 01:38, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Congratulations, dear Barliner! I know you'll be a great admin. Oh, and I just gave you your (unofficial) admin T-shirt. Yes, I know I have no authority in giving these out, but you really deserve it! :P ingly, Bella tête-à-tête 06:41, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reverted my change to vagina

Why does penis article have all the photos but vagina article only the diagrams? I just tried to make simple english wikipedia not be so gay! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.215.82.73 (talkcontribs) 01:42, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Because the article concerned the internal reproductive system, so a photograph of the external area was not adding to the article at all. Bärliner 01:52, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Barliner. I just want to remind you that we remove backlinks only if the article lacked notability or was deleted through an RfD (we don't want someone to see the red link and think it needs to be created). Since prostatitis was deleted as a copyvio, it is still a valid subject for recreation. Thanks, Goodvac (talk) 09:32, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the warning. Deleting redlinks startedhapening, and I thought I had solved the problem yesterday. Bärliner (talk) 09:49, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It wasn't so much a warning as it was a gentle nudge. ;) Goodvac (talk) 18:02, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

well hello

and welcome back, Barliner, hope you're doing better.--   Christnrockr90  09:46, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Taking each day a it comes... --Bärliner (talk) 09:51, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This new category you created tonight currently contains only one article, Wikipedia:Categories currently states that a category should be created after there are three or more articles that fit in such a category. If you do not plan on adding more articles I will start a RfD for it to be deleted. Thanks.--   Christnrockr90  10:50, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

But I find that rather than finish importing and simplifying articles to populate the category I have to explain my intentions. --Bärliner (talk) 11:04, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for giving you the by the book treatment last night, just wanted to maintain the wiki.--   CR90  09:01, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Flood flag

Hi Barliner. Could you please use the flood flag when you import templates particularly if you have "Include all templates" checked? Otherwise, it floods recent changes, making it difficult to keep track of vandalism for RC patrollers. Regards, Pmlineditor (t · c · l) 11:44, 27 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

178.21.233.242

Hi Barliner! The IP is actually right (well, not good formatted what it added). Knut really died some days ago. In this case it might have been better to help with correct formatting rather then reverting and blocking. Best, -Barras (talk) 09:26, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It was the nature of the changes ([1] By consent of the nazi dictatorship, Knut has been stuff by the bloodthirsty nazis and hung on a hook by his anal passage. [2] see: http://blog.nus.edu.sg,) its frequency and the changes and last warning received by the IP one hour ago which made me decide on a block. --Bärliner (talk) 09:31, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Uh...sorry then. I haven't read the text completely and just saw something like "died"... bla whatever and wondered that it was blocked. (The reason why I haven't blocked when receiving the ping). Keep up the good work :-) -Barras (talk) 09:36, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ceratopsia/Ceratopsids

We have these two categories, which should be merged to Category:Ceratopsids. In general, for this wiki, we don't need taxonomic categories below family level without a good reason. In any event, categories should be in the Anglicised version rather than Latin, and most are. If you agree, would you please do the merge? Macdonald-ross (talk) 11:14, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. I'll do the merge.--Bärliner (talk) 11:17, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about My Accident

I meant reverting edits because of nonsense posted onto the Fascism article, but instead, by accident, removed more than I really intended. I wanna fight vandalism. But without Twinkle, how can I do that? September 1988 (talk) 10:40, 30 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Danke schön =p

Danke für Sein warmer Empfang. =p Flinders Petrie (talk) 00:19, 31 March 2011 (UTC) (how the heck do you put tildes on a German keyboard? I see them on the sticker, but can't type them ._.)[reply]

Do you have a function key? I think Fn+~works. I just spent the last 6 months learning how to use an English keyboard again, and am lost without being able to hit one key for "Ë" etc. Failing that you should have a pen symbol on the edit bar, you may need to choose My preferences → Gadgets → edittools checkbox --Bärliner (talk) 00:29, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yep I have one, but it doesn't do anything for me with the tilde. I am using a typical US QWERTY keyboard with English-Hebrew-German keyboard stickers, so I can just switch back from Deutsch to English layout and do it that way. Just annoying I can't change it on the German one. (not that I would really need it yet as I am still only in German 002. E with an umlaut? When would you use that? O_O Surely not in German. It's best to get a multi-layout set of keyboard stickers. That way you can switch and type in whichever you need at the time. =) (Like I can easily switch from English to German for German papers and Hebrew for hw and talking to my gf) Flinders Petrie (talk) 00:36, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dude, why didn't you wait until April 2 to delete it? It's tradition on Wikipedias to let fake AFDs at least last through all of April Fool's Day Backpack mano y mano 14:27, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
