WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2006 (also known as Exciting Pro Wrestling 7 in Japan) is a professional wrestling video game that was published by THQ except in Japan where it was published by Yuke's, who also developed the game. It was released on November 11, 2005 in Europe, November 14, 2005 in North America and February 2, 2006 in Japan for the PlayStation 2 and on December 16, 2005 in Europe, December 13, 2005 in North America and October 12, 2006 in Japan for the PlayStation Portable.

It is the second game in the the WWE SmackDown vs. Raw video game series, the seventh in the series overall, and the first in the series to be released on more that one console. The game adds the Buried Alive and Fulfill Your Fantasy matches (mix between Bra and Panties match and pillow fight) as match types, and the General Manager mode and Create-An-Entrance as new modes. It is the sequel to WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw and was followed by WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007.

The game received "generally favorable" reviews on both platforms, according to Metacritic.[23][24]

The game was praised as the best wrestling game available for the system.[11] However, there were some complaints for the game's limitations of game modes.[25][26] In Japan, Famitsu gave the PlayStation 2 version a score of three eights and one seven for a total of 31 out of 40.

Until December 2006, the game sold 3.3 million copies.[27] The PlayStation 2 version received a "Platinum" sales award from the Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association (ELSPA),[28] selling at least 300,000 copies in the United Kingdom.[29] In October 2006, the game was added to Sony's Greatest Hits collection.[30]

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences nominated WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2006 for "Fighting Game of the Year" at the 10th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards.[31]
