Yandere Simulator is an upcoming stealth video game developed by Alex Mahan, who is also called YandereDev.

Gameplay[change | change source]

The player controls Ayano Aishi, also called Yandere-chan.

Controversy[change | change source]

In 2016, the game was added to Twitch's list of banned games.[2]

In September 2023, allegations of grooming were made against Yandere Simulator developer Alex Mahan. Mahan would later admit to having inappropriate conversations with a minor but denied the grooming accusations.[3] After the allegations were made public, many of the other developers and voice actors for the game left, including Michaela Laws, the voice of Ayano Aishi. The game's development would then go on hiatus.[4]
