Borongan Airport

Borongan Airport is an airport in the town of Borongan and the only operating airport in the province of Eastern Samar.

In September 2008, Borongan Airport was opened by leader Ben Evardone. The first flight landed on the middle of September 2, 2008.

In December 2022, Representative Marcelino Libanan had a meeting with Transport Secretary about the expansion of the airport.

In June 19, 2023, The Government of Borongan opened a new space to people. [1]
