Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism

DIICOT, which stands for the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (in Romanian: Direcția de Investigare a Infracțiunilor de Criminalitate Organizată și Terorism), is a law enforcement agency in Romania. Established in 2002, DIICOT operates under the Romanian Ministry of Justice and is responsible for investigating and combating organized crime, terrorism, and other serious offenses.
