Ulytau Region

Ulytau Province or Ulytau Region (Kazakh: Ұлытау облысы, Russian: Улытауская область) is a region in the center of Kazakhstan. The capital of region is the city of Jezkazgan. As 2023, 221,395 people live here.[1]

The region is named after the Ulytau (en) mountain range.

There are only three cities in this region: Jezkazgan, Karazhal and Satbayev.
