140.113.152.201

You tagged User talk:140.113.152.201 as a school IP. While it may be, it is also wide open on port 8080 and listed on about a hundred proxy lists.[1]. I lumped it in with the other three getting year blocks for being proxies. --Creol(talk) 14:21, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

Hello Chenzw, whats the message template you use to block someone? The one I usually use doesn't let you put in the length of block like yours does? Unless I am using it wrongly :P Regards, Kennedy (talk) 12:59, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

They are Template:Uw-block1, Template:Uw-block2 and Template:Uw-block3. The third one is used for indef blocks. They take the time and reason parameters. Chenzw  Talk  13:09, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ah thats what it is. I was using {{Test5}} which doesn't seem to allow extra parameters. Thanks! Kennedy (talk) 13:38, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Thank you for your support in my RfA which passed 24/0/0. I will do my best to better Wikipedia with the administrative tools that the community has seen fit to grant me. QandA
  • The QandA. Every month, Kennedy interviews one of the Simple English Wikipedia's editors, asking them about themselves, and their opinions on Wikipedia. It is an exciting insight behind the anonymous face of an online username. This month is a bumper edition for QandA, as Kennedy was an idiot and forgot to load the interview last edition! This month will be Shapiros10 and Yotcmdr! Click for their interviews:

The Commander's Choice

The Commanders's Choice. For every edition, Yotcmdr will be chosing articles that need creating, expanding or being attended to. Here is this edition's list:

Removal of QD tag

Just thought I'd let you know, if you would have looked at the history page it was an IP NOT the user who put the question, the user has no edits. Check this and this for proof.-- Chris†ianMan16 t c r 19:11, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, but some users don't know that they have been logged out unexpectedly (deleted cookies, crash, etc.). I think we should just AGF here. Chenzw  Talk  06:49, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the T-shirt

Thanks for the support and encouragement - and the Tshirt, I will wear it with pride. --Peterdownunder (talk) 06:01, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

RfA Thankspam

Chenzw/Archives/Archive 8, thanks for your comments in my recent RfA which closed as 12/11 or "no consensus". I hope to work on the things that were raised and prove to the community that I am worthy of the mop, this includes showing my RL stability, that I don't have Ownership issues with DYK and also showing that I know what consensus is. Special thanks go to Kennedy for nominating me! Thanks for your comments! GoblinBot3 (talk)

Nomination for bureaucrat

Hi there Chenzw. I would like to nominate you for bureaucrat. If you would like me to nominate you, please give me a holler on my talk page or reply to this page. Cheers, Razorflame 03:52, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am very honoured to be nominated for this position. Eptalon's suggestion seems to be a good idea too (have the 5 most suitable candidates run). Are you going to nominate anyone else? Chenzw  Talk  11:51, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've already asked Majorly to nominate him, however, it seems he doesn't want me to at the moment. I'll nominate you now. Cheers, Razorflame 14:43, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have a few questions that need answers on your RfB. Cheers, Razorflame 19:57, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
