July 2010

We like and strongly encourage helpful changes to Wikipedia, but an article you created was directly copied and pasted from the main English Wikipedia. Please do not do that, as such articles are usually too complex and may have templates that do not exist here. Thank you. Nifky^ 09:15, 10 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Stub templates

Hey Polymathsj! I know changing a Wikipedia can be hard, so I encourage you to keep being bold. But, I just wanted to let you know that, although some templates go at the start of articles, others go at the end. The {{stub}} template was in the right place before you moved it here. I have fixed your mistake, don't worry. If you need any help, please feel free to ask. Thanks! EhJJTALK 20:14, 10 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

RFA.

Hello. I saw you opened up an RFA. As you only created your account today, I would suggest withdrawing this RFA and reading through the Criteria for administratorship. The chances that this RFA will pass are very unlikely. I would encourage you to come back and try again after you gain some experience here. Thanks!--Gordonrox24 | Talk 23:58, 10 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for you have created a sock puppet account to vote on your own RFA.. If you believe this block is unfair you may request to be unblocked by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. If you cannot do this or the reason is private please send an e-mail to simple-admins-l@lists.wikimedia.org and an administrator will look at your reason and reply. You may want to consider reading our guide to unblock requests before requesting to be unblocked. fr33kman 00:57, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This blocked user asked to be unblocked, but one or more administrators said no to this unblock request. Other administrators can also review this block, but should not unblock the user without a good reason. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

The user which voted me was one of my old accounts which I deserted, following the change of my email address months ago. I afterwards rejoined with this account on the English Wikipedia, and now, I use this account.

Decline reason:

Then why did you thank them for supporting you instead of explaining that an error had occured?? Want to try another excuse? fr33kman 01:07, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

i don't know. I have a question. Is this block permanent?? Polymathsj (talk) 01:09, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As of now, yes.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 01:15, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Since you have offered no valid explanation, and have lied as to how it happened, yes it is. You have also been reported to all the other checkusers and the stewards so that checks of you can be done on the other projects. fr33kman 01:19, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
In general any "forever" block is "indefinite" not "permanent". If you would like to edit again chances are always available though generally at least a short time being away (and not trying to get around the block etc) and then coming back and politely asking to be unblocked with apologies or an understanding of the problem is possible and would be discussed at the time. I leave you a question. Nataly8 (talk) 12:43, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't love answer in my talk page. In archive 5, the last question. Your bot works. He left me a message. Nataly8 (talk) 12:47, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Aha. OK. I finish with Aang. Nataly8 (talk) 12:49, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

PGA? What is this? I didn't find anything about Aang. Nataly8 (talk) 12:52, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't love propose articles I started or completed for GA or VGA. Nataly8 (talk)

I think you see the comment of PrincessofLlyr. Nataly8 (talk) 13:03, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What is former admin? Nataly8 (talk) 13:44, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's a bad new :) Nataly8 (talk) 13:54, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How, if they block the bot, will affect on you? Nataly8 (talk) 14:22, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hm... Nataly8 (talk) 14:28, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How goes your work with vandals? Nataly8 (talk) 15:18, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I work with vandals on Greek Wikipedia, and write articles. Nataly8 (talk) 15:24, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Only users, admins and burecrauts (and bots). Nataly8 (talk) 15:29, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am sure. Nataly8 (talk) 15:36, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No. Only one of 3 burecrauts work (and not often) and now many admins relaxing. Nataly8 (talk) 15:40, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Founder? What is this? Nataly8 (talk) 15:44, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Where is the list of "founders" and what important has this status. Nataly8 (talk) 15:50, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Only one name. Jimbo. Can you explain that:

Well... Did you know that on En, you have the "Founder" rights (which only Jimbo has currently)? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nataly8 (talkcontribs)

I didn't find anything about "founders". Where you find my rights? Nataly8 (talk) 16:04, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Here? Where actually? Nataly8 (talk) 16:12, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You saw Your rights are up on your talk page. Where? I didn't find it. Where you find my rights? Nataly8 (talk) 16:29, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You said

Well... Did you know that on En, you have the "Founder" rights (which only Jimbo has currently)?

Nataly8 (talk) 16:36, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

(On en) Nataly8 (talk) 16:47, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

founder is a global group. πr2 (talk • changes) 16:37, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wait a minute. And what you want to say with that?:

Well... Did you know that on En, you have the "Founder" rights (which only Jimbo has currently)?

Nataly8 (talk) 16:54, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And what relation it have with me? Nataly8 (talk) 16:56, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, we started with u.r on Greek Wikipedia and after you said me:

Well... Did you know that on En, you have the "Founder" rights (which only Jimbo has currently)?

Nataly8 (talk) 17:02, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You said it, I just remind you. And I cannot understand why? I am a user, no "founder". Nataly8 (talk) 17:05, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So why you said it? Nataly8 (talk) 17:10, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wait a minute. I cannot understand. If I don't have rights there, how I can be "founder"? Nataly8 (talk) 17:12, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry. The "founder" rights. Why are too important and why I have those rights? You have the same on En Wp? Nataly8 (talk) 17:17, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. The only I cannot understand it' s why you send me the message? Nataly8 (talk) 17:31, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK. Nataly8 (talk) 17:35, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How goes your work with vandals? Nataly8 (talk) 19:36, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I am "figthing" vandals (are they think that I am their enemy?) and writinga at the same time. Nataly8 (talk) 19:57, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I deleted Qui

It just had an annoying message at the top of the page that said "Qui encountered an unknown status. Please blank your staus page" when it was blanked already. The dot in the upper right corner didn't show. It was too much trouble. --Chemicalinterest (talk) 13:07, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Flood flag

What is this? Nataly8 (talk) 04:55, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

His (The Three Headed Knight) actions must be hidden or no? Because I saw in New Changes one change he made after taking flood flag. Nataly8 (talk) 05:02, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I asked about the flood flag. We working here, not there (you). So, let's work for Simple, please. Nataly8 (talk) 05:09, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

that was uncalled for. Please, you will do better to not interfere in other people's affairs that don't even involve this wiki, let alone you. sonia 05:11, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I'll not do so. Hazard-SJ Talk 05:15, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why you need the flood flag? Nataly8 (talk) 05:19, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And why you didn't get it (yet)? Nataly8 (talk) 05:24, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What???

You now have 6000+ edits!! You had ~3000 yesterday! How did you double your edit count? πr2 (talk • changes) 12:31, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As I've tried to tell you both before, changes are not important. It's the quality, not the quantity, that counts in the long run. :) To your question, though, PiR, I think he was categorizing pages. Cordially, —Clementina talk 12:33, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
And he is now going to have to reverse a large number of them. You shouldn't have been adding Category:Sports to most of those articles, because they are already in sub-categories of tht one. Please go through and reverse all the edits you made adding that category. -DJSasso (talk) 13:39, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed. Pro wrestling is not a sport. I now have to revert every page you added it to. SimonKSK 14:23, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted more of your edits. 3000+?! Nataly8 (talk) 18:36, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Me, PiRSquared17, and Nataly8 have reverted about 1,500 of your incorrect edits. I noticed that you are choosing to ignore what you have done. Have some decency and revert the rest of your incorrect edits. Mainly the Category:Sports edits. Most of the pages that you added this cat to are already in subcategories of Category:Sports. You have a lot of reverting to do. SimonKSK 23:41, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I wasn't ignoring it. I'll be setting up for it in a sec (I'll soon ask for the flood flag and set up my AWB to remove that category from all of the rest). Hazard-SJ Talk 23:44, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You and your bot have been removed from the allowed AWB users list. You're going to have to do this manually. SimonKSK 23:45, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
My bot was never on it according to my knowledge. Hazard-SJ Talk 23:46, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
In fact, my bot won't be in use for a while if I use it. Hazard-SJ Talk 23:47, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It was added. Hazard-SJ Talk 23:53, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Editing restriction!

You are hereby required to refrain from direct interactions with Nataly8 for the next 3 months. If you feel something they have done if wrong you are required to ask an admin via email to do something about it. Failure to comply will result in a block. fr33kman 03:42, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, how goes your work in En wikipedia? Nataly8 (talk) 11:29, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Linking to en

You have to put a colon in front of "en:" if you want it to be an inline-link (as opposed to an interwiki link). πr2 (talk • changes) 17:14, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. For some reason, I completely forgot. I seem to have been making an interwiki link instead. Hazard-SJ Talk 17:16, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Note

I don't see why this was needed. Brian is an experienced editor, who knows what he is doing; forgetting to warn once isn't something he needs to be warned about. There is no need to "warn" everyone for every small error they make (or don't). In my opinion, there is no need to template the regulars. Pmlineditor  08:56, 28 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The IP didn't upload a file.

It created a test page. (it probably clicked on the image on WP:Introduction which I've fixed now). πr2 (talk • changes) 16:06, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, PiR is correct, he just created a page on the File page. While it was a test page, if the IP wants to do work with images, commons is the place to go. Thanks for helping, both of you. :) --Gordonrox24 | Talk 16:14, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed that afterwards (the file still exists, yet the page is deleted). Hazard-SJ Talk 16:17, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly. That is because the image is already on commons, the IP just created it`s page here. So after the delete, the file is still up and working.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 16:18, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Simple Community would like you to be an Admin

Hi, I want to tell you that the simple community wants you to be an admin, will you please nom yourself for RfA. You should have the tools, eventually you can be a crat and CU. Plus also your comments on ANI are heaps insightful and show you should be one of the main admins on Simple. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.195.136.34 (talkcontribs)

I would think twice about this request from an IP editor, he is probably trying to egg you on to fail at its extremely unlikely at this point you would pass an RfA. -DJSasso (talk) 13:49, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Note also that the IP is an open proxy. I have blocked it at such. EhJJTALK 13:59, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'd think twice about admin, trice about 'crat and, well, more than five times for CU. Also, If it was the community, why should I make a self nomination? The community should do it, right? Not me... Hazard-SJ Talk 21:24, 11 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request for mentorship

Hello Hazard-SJ, I am Digital villager and I am very new to Wikipedia. I am would like some guidance in developing articles and in improving existing articles that I have a personal interest in. I sincerely appreciate any guidance that you can offer me. One of the articles that I am interested in has experienced ongoing vandalism. Thank you for your kind assistance. Have a fabulous day. Sure, I'll help you out. Welcome to Wikipedia, by the way! Where should we start?  Hazard-SJ  ±  20:30, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Howdy. I've reverted your revert on the above template and left the redirect in place as is it is actually a somewhat useful redirect. If you disagree then go get a 3O or whatever, but it's worth keeping as a redirect as it could be used. Goblin 00:05, 28 December 2010 (UTC) I ♥ Microchip08![reply]
